Oceanwind Knits hand-dyed yarns are created with utmost care and dedication to details.

Each batch is a unique artistic endeavor: although care is taken to attempt a likeness within colourways, each skein is truly unique and becomes a little work of art all it’s own.

Some colourways are repeated (in essence) in some of the merinos available. Others are limited edition runs and will only be produced at the whim of the dyer.

Base yarns are chosen for their resilient yet beautiful qualities. Although many of the yarns are merino-based, you will also find bluefaced leicester as well as silk and seacell blends and also yummy cashmere blends.  Availability depends on current stock levels.
